Sludge Conditioner LC 101 is used in steam boiler systems where water is zeolite softened
or in natural waters very low in hardness. This treatment will prevent scale
formation from residual hardness in addition to conditioning sludge. LC 101
is a balanced blend of polymers, which are mildly alkaline scale and
corrosion inhibitors in addition to sodium sulfite for added pitting and
corrosion protection. If 20 to 30 ppm (mg/l) of sulfite cannot be maintained
with a normal dosage of LC 101, add LC 102 to hold this recommended level. Application Easily fed to the boiler as a slug dosage
or by chemical proportioning pump directly into the boiler. It can also be
injected into the feedwater tank. Formula LC 101 contains no heavy metals. Dosage Initial dosage is one (1) quart per 1,000 gallons and
one (1) quart thereafter for every 800 gallons of make-up water. Maintain
20-3- ppm (mg/l) of orthophosphate in the boiler. |

Anti Rust Coating LC
250 is a water displacing anti corrosion compound used to prevent rust on
metal surfaces with unlimited applications in the fields of marine,
automobile, aviation farming, etc. LC
250 creeps along surfaces and into cracks to lubricate, loosen frozen parts and
displace water. The loosened rust can easily be removed. The displacing
mechanism works by preferential wetting. The attraction, of the preventative
that of water, thus displacing water. Application Apply
LC 250 to metal surfaces either by brushing or dipping. When dipping is used,
allow excess chemical to drip prior to storage. Handling & Precaution Avoid
unnecessary skin contact. Prolonged contact may cause irritation. Ù

|
Dissolve Rust LC
251 is a special blend of acids, detergents, corrosion inhibitors and
surfactants that is used in all operations where rust should be removed and
avoided to lengthen equipment life, efficiency and improve appearance of
metal equipment, machinery, tanks, valves, pipes, etc. LC
251 reacts with the iron oxides to quickly remove and liquefy rust and
corrosion. Simultaneously, the product reacts chemically with the metal
surface to form a thin, continuous layer of phosphates that passivates the
ferrous metals from flash rusting. This layer also acts as a rough base which
firmly bonds paint with maximum adhesion. Application LC
251 may be applied by spraying, brushing or dipping. Allow the solution come
into contact with rusted or corroded surfaces 5 to 15 minutes. The metal may
be occasionally scrubbed with a brush to hasten the appearance of metallic
luster. Finally rinse with cold water Dosage Dilute
with ratio of 1 : 5 with water depending on the rust thickness Ù

Passivating Agent LC
252 is designed to be used for “passivating” open & closed loop systems
to prevent corrosion. It is a liquid blend of nitrite and other corrosion
preventives which protects not only steel surfaces but also copper and other
metal as well. The high concentration makes it a cost effective nitrite based
passivating agent with the added advantage of being multi-metal compatibility
and thus do not require separation of non-ferrous parts from a system during
passivation. Application Normally
injected into the system that is previously filled with standard industrial
grade water and circulated continuously under required pressure for about 1-2
hours with hourly monitoring of the Nitrite concention. A higher temperature
help to accelerate the passivating process and therefore reduce operation
time. An appropriate temperature suitable to the system and available
resources is choosen between 35 – 950C Dosage Initial
: 1 : 400 is suitable in most cases of passivation processes operating at
optimum temperature between 50 – 700C. Depending on the quality of water used
some adjustment in the amount may be required to maintain the pH of the
solution. An increase in concentration of LC 252 is necessary in badly soiled systems. Additional amount
of LC 252 may be required to be added during the circulation for the
passivation process in order to maintain the required control parameters
while monitoring. Ù

Phosphating Agents LC
253 is a highly alkaline concentrated product designed for neutralizing the
metal surfaces that is acceptable to corrosion. LC 253 is also a highly
alkaline formulation of phosphate, polymeric dispersants and corrosion
inhibitors. It is designed to control corrosion and neutralize any acidic
left over from acid cleaning processes. It contains no chromate or heavy
metals. Application Can
be added directly into the raw water to give a 1% to 5% solution, which then
may be used for neutralization & protection. For offline storing purposes
a 0.5% solution may be quite effective. The surface to be neutralized or get
protection must receive a minimum of 5-10 minute contact time. Dosage Dosage
is calculated depending on the circulating or storing volume and the time of
contact. A diluted solution of 0.5% up to 5% is recommended. Use concentrated
solution for less contact time & higher initial conditions, where as a
0.5% solution may be used for storing. Ù

Rust Guard LC
255 is a versatile and highly effective rust preventative for use on unpainted
metals during outdoor storage or overseas shipping. LC 255 protects metal
with heavy waxy film. It does not require any surface cleaning or preparation
and covers the metal like a paint, but easily removable. LC
255 provides protection for storage of metal, equipment, tools, tanks,
structures, machinery, castings, fittings, valves, doors, frames, fixtures,
jigs, etc. Application LC
255 can be applied by spraying, brushing or dipping. It is recommended to
apply by dipping in a tank with water draining facilities which ensures
maximum coverage, penetration and cost effectiveness. LC 255 absorbs water
and moisture while lubricating plated surfaces and bare metals such as steel,
iron, alumunium, copper, brass and lead. Ù

Rust Killer LC
256 is a concentrated blend of acids, corrosion inhibitors, emulsifiers and
wetting agents that converts rust and metallic oxides into a stable and inert
compound. The stable converted coat serves as a good base for subsequent
re-painting. LC
256 replaces old conventional ways of treating rusty metal surface for
re-coating and is successfully used in storage tanks, workshops, factories,
buildings, ship building, etc. Application LC
256 may be used by spraying or brushing. It may be applied directly following
the removal of loose flaking rust. It is recommended to clean the surfaces
with a wire brush prior to the application of LC 256, to achieve a good
instant surface for better paint adhesion and durability. Wash down with
water. Leave
for 12 – 24 hours after which time the conversion will be complete. Then,
rinse again with water. Ù

Granite Stain Remover ( For White Porous
Materials ) LC
300 is a designed specifically for stains on granite surfaces arising out of contamination
during production or due to storage. It is very effective for stains on
granite surfaces due to poor quality water, inproper storage & soil
contamination. It is an acid based special blend of selected penetrants,
emulsifiers, dispersant & solvent carriers designed to effectively
penetrate, react, dissolve & remove the stains from the surfaces as well
as deeper into the granite structure without affecting the surface. Application Make
sure that the granite surfaces is free from dust, soil & dirt. Apply LC
300 on the pre-treated surface by brushing to leave a thin uniform film on
the whole surface. Do not leave any surface untreated. Wait until 15-30
minutes or more until the stains start dispersing. Rinse and wipe clean the
whole surface with demin water. For deeper & thicker stains, repeat the
process. May not be suitable for certain types of granite & marble.
Always make a test sample before final application. Ù
